From 02 – 10 August, ’18 international training course UPRISE- “Unleashing the Power of Social Entrepreneurs” will be carried out in Liepaja, Latvia, which will gather 27 youth workers from 8 European countries.
UPRISE- “Unleashing the Power of Social Entrepreneurs” which will be organized by “Inspiration by Motion. Latvia” aims to develop the capacity of youth workers to raise awareness and address refugee related issues in their work with young people using the tool of social entrepreneurship. The main objectives of the training course are to widen perspectives of participants on the concept of social entrepreneurship as a tool for tackling local social problems of marginalized young people, refugees/asylum seekers and migrants, and to identify existing resources for the young social entrepreneurs and share know how on social enterprises;
“Inspiration by Motion. Latvia” is caring out the training course in consortium with the following organizations MeOut- Hungary, Business and Professional Women CR -Czech Republic, Youthnet Hellas – Greece, Associazione EUfemia – Italy, Maracena Erasmus+ – Spain, Associacao CHECK-IN – cooperacao e desenvolvimento – Portugal and Fundacja Instytut Badan i Innowacji w Edukacji from Poland.
“Unleashing the Power of Social Entrepreneurs” is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union with the support of Agency for International Programs for Youth Republic of Latvia.
“Inspiration by Motion. Latvia” is a non-governmental international organization for active youth, youth workers, and leaders who want to participate in social development in local, national and international level. It is located in Riga, Latvia and inspires people to improve the world by changing their vision through active participation in social life.
